MGM Resorts International Beau Rivage Resort & Casino has partnered with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon since its founding in 2016. The annual Coastal Running Fest features four distance races, including a marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) and kids marathon (a 1.2 mile fun run). Last year's race drew more than 9,000 runners, volunteers and spectators to Coastal Mississippi from 42 states and five countries.

Live entertainment takes the stage at Beau Rivage Theatre nightly during marathon weekend, starting with Christmas with Aaron Neville on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 12 and 13, and the debut of Beau Rivage's holiday production show Christmas in the Air on Saturday and Sunday. In EIGHT75, Anderson Domingues performs from 3 – 8 p.m. on Friday, followed by Triggerproof from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. both Friday and Saturday.
The Spa at Beau Rivage is an ideal setting for pre- and post-race relaxation, offering two specials, including the Marathon Runner Massage, which includes a full body Swedish-style massage. The Marathon Custom Massage is the ultimate massage experience, tailor-fit to meet specific needs from massage pressure to location and includes two enhancements such as Warm Himalayan Salt Stones and Fire and Ice to warm focus areas and provide cooling relief. Runners showing their race bib receive an insulated water bottle with any spa service, while supplies last.
